When we moved from NYC to the burbs of NJ she planted trees in our yard. She was not terribly good at placement..we had lilac bushes planted in the shade and narry a blossom did we see...however, we had variety not seen in anywhere else in our neighborhood. All of those trees you see in an Aspen grove are likely clones of one seedling. How cool is that? [link to www.google.com] They sense water and so they were used by explorers to find water sources Ah Bayobab. Yes, they are huge. There's some Bristlecone Pine that are 5,000 years old.
