1) The U.S. would never abandon Japan. We're close allies.
2) China is trying to push it's weight around, testing the waters, seeing who reacts and who doesn't.
3) China DOES NOT 'own' the U.S.; it holds the largest amount of foreign owned debt, but most U.S. debt is domestic. And it would be an incredibly stupid thing for the CHICOMs to fuck around when they have so much invested with the U.S. [and truthfully, vice-versa]. But at the end of the day, it's really the U.S. who hold the major cards.
4) GODZILLA. Yeah, go ahead, laugh...just you wait.
