And the saddest part is when you complain to people about the lying and/or the corruption all they say is "Yeah, that's what they all do". They accept it. It's ok, it's what they do. Unfuckingbelievable.

The president along with the rest of the government was literally intended to represent the interests of the people. Sadly it seems that the president and the government could care less about the wishes of the people.
I actually saw an interview of Dick Cheney back in the day where he point blank said he didn't care what the people thought about his actions. He was even chuckling about it, and no doubt because of his arrogance concerning the matter. My jaw hit the floor, and I still to this day can't believe what I heard.
