back in the eighties, all the conspiracy freaks on electronic networks spouted their theories on usenet and compuserve. most of the theories that go around today, were already told back then.

The most crucial conspiracy theory there is is the one that alleges that a group of elite shadowy group who hold ancient secret wisdom is trying to bring the masses of humanity to a critical point of insanity and fear by which they may accept a global rule by these elites and give up all their means to ever be able to overthrow it,for the rest of time.
