Does God give guns to crazy people, or do people make video games and movies and music and share information that create crazy people? Free will. Everything is your fault. I'm thankful I wasn't in a family that forced religion on me at a young age. I imagine the chains are harder to break if you've literally been force fed this stuff the first day you were able to go to church as a baby. Too many things don't add up about this existence. If this "loving and kind" entity wanted any kind of relationship with me, it blew it. I don't trust it. I stick with my parent example from another post. A loving parent would stop the child from playing near a hot stove where he/she could burn himself/herself. That parent wouldn't sit back smugly and see that the child is about to burn their hand while the adult thinks "It was a good lesson for the child to learn. I love you enough to let you burn yourself." And what about adding somebody else into this game? Let's say there's some psycho nut trying to drag your kid over to the hot stove and the psychopath will be the one to burn your kid. Wouldn't you fight for your flesh and blood? That psycho won't lay a finger on your kid. You will do everything possible to protect you child. That's the way I look at this world. Too many innocents (human, animal or whatever) are caught in a cycle where we're the ones being dragged to the stove. No need to use that old 'free will' excuse. I'm not the one willingly going up to the stove and touching it so I can burn myself on purpose. Still no intervention. I can't trust something like that. |
