There is a balance between the two that must be acquired, as either or can distort someone's thoughts in how they would look at you.
The fine balance between the two manifests natural 'leader' qualities pertaining to a loyalty that is found in commonality and respect.

I was speaking as to why a balance must be within being too liberal and too pedagogical.
