This thread is once again the proof GLP is full of morons. Seriously, this is nothing new, and goes back all the way throughout US history. Free speech has not been stopped, but crowd control is also allowed. You can protest someplace else.

That was my initial reaction, but you should watch that embedded YT with Judge Napolitano. This is definitely a major change, and it is a lot more than crowd control.

Watch it and then come back and tell me that making speech a FELONY is nothing new.

HR 347 was passed almost two years full years ago after it was introduced to the republican controlled house by rep. Tom Rooney (a florida republican), where it won with a total landslide vote (223 republican votes in favor / 176 democrat votes in favor / only 3 voted against it, including Ron Paul). Then Obama signed it.

Everyone wants to call him "king obama" like this is something he demanded in light of the backlash to the gun laws. If you actually took the time to read the bill and view the voting record you'd realize that this was a bipartisan effort to restrict our rights, not something one person did to make himself king. Credit where it's due.
