NJ Town Considers Banning US Flag

These left wing commi pigs don't if it is un-American or not. they want a communist Country even thou most don't really know what one is.

The left is killing this Country and most in America think they are just trying to help. They will not learn until it is to late.

if I lived there I would fly a flag no matter what.............

It isn't a solely jewish area. I actually live in the next town over, and WNY is home to many many different cultures. You really only see this "Jewish area" in a very very small portion of town, and I have to admit it is very out of the ordinary.

Has anyone downloaded the link to the proposed law nowhere does it state banning of the American Flag only gaudy large advertisement signs as many other towns already have in law.

MAYOR RESPONDS TO ALLEGATIONS OF FLAG BANNING

I want to make it very clear that American flags have NOT been banned in West New York, nor have any other nation’s flags. It has been an unfortunate matter of misunderstanding.

As a colonel in the United States Army for 37 years, it would be absolutely absurd for me to support flag banning in any way. I love this country. If not for this country, I would not have been able to become a physician, a colonel, or your mayor.

It would be a violation of our freedom of speech to disallow residents to show their patriotism. This is the sort of oppression I experienced in Cuba. The freedom to proudly display the American flag and to express oneself is what inspired me to serve in the United States military for nearly four decades. It is why I love my country.
