What these so-called "leaders" have to ask themselves is how safe they themselves might be after giving those orders. I know that much of the current and former military (at least all that I know) takes their oaths seriously. So, while they may be trained to take and follow orders, their conscience will eventually put them at diametrically opposed odds with their commanders (should those people prove to be the enemy they've sworn an oath to protect us, their families and children from).

When that happens, accountability will follow shortly thereafter, and I think they know this - and it scares the shit out of them.

answers to this question:

personally: can't see how it would play out!

firstly: US officer corps takes an OATH to uphold and defend the Constitution of the US!.....that oath over-rides every-thing else...their first and fore-most duty is to protect the Constitution @ wht-evr cost!

secondly: "other ranks" take an OATH to obey their officers and, then, defend the Constitution.....

the only way that military 'leaders' could order troops to open fire on US citz is if they broke their oath of allegiance to the Constitution....if they do that.....they are automatically traitors and any other officer or senior NCO nearby would be quite justified in shooting them stone FUCKING dead there and then ON the SPOT!

I may be wrong but firing on your own people in America is against everything we stand for..being able to keep and bare arms was meant to suppress an over reaching government and keep this country in the hands of the people not tyrants.
