Shit take some ibuprofen to get rid of your fever already.
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

I'd like to go quietly in my sleep, like grandpa did. Not screaming in terror like the people in the back seat of the car he was driving.

I've been doing VItamin D3 drops every couple of hours. 3000MG of Vitamin C (Emergen-C multivitamin + 2 1000mg vit c gel tabs) and will take more in an hour.

What else should I be doing?

I don't feel horrible -- just a little sleepy and cold/chills. But the fever has gone up from 100.3 to 102.1 in the last four hours.

I had in 09 worst flu it was prob swine flu. my temp was 103.8 it was christmas day. no meds nothing. so looked online found a site about baking soda. so I had that. I did it every two hours like the one site said. and after three half teaspoon doses or six hours I had no more fever. the cough lasted a full week though it was not as bad.

I also used fresh garlic to chew and I had ginger I used as well in tea with lemons.

I think the combo worked real well. now I just use baking soda. it kicks virus and bacterias asses.

Hope you get better soon.

hugs You poor thing! Also try the onion trick people have talked about on GLP. Cut one in half and place on a table next to your bed while you sleep. I tried it due to having that horrible cough that was going around. after having the cough for 2 months I would have tried anything! I did that and i tried putting Vicks on my feet then socks on. Did both the same night and the next morning my cough was gone! Can't say which one or if it was both that helped but it worked! hf

Sometimes the crap medical advice you see on here is astounding. Look, you need to get the temp down. Take the Tylenol.

i also have oil of oregano and sambucus (Elderberry syrup)

Should I take these as well?

And what about my nightly potassium and magnesium?

Oil of Organo is great to mix with the Olive Leaf!

Also, if your temperature continues to climb like that, you may need to take some ibuprofen. It will knock out the aches and drop your temp. Just make sure you take the right dosage.

Hello
Your fever is in a good range. You need the fever to combat the disease. Many things like your 98.6 degress temp in order to flourish. Your body increases the temp in order to stop their growth and eventually kill the disease. Most people don't know that!

However, when it gets to 103 then take only Tylenol, no NSAIDS. I would only take 500 vvitamin C unless you have a cold then go as high as 4000. When you are better dropo it back down to 500. There is a slight chance of hurting other organs if you take to much constantly.

I am a Biology major btw.

God Bless

A Man Has Got to Know His Limitations

I am just a sinner trying to make it to heaven!

Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

i've used em for years

had I not used mine in this past week I would have caught pneumonia. Its the only prevention for me from the evil "P".

that bullshit about them being dangerous was made up by the pharma companies because Nettie pots work.

you gotta sanitize em before and after and make sure you dont put shit water in em.

but they are not dangerous...

brain eating virus horseshit is horseshit

Re: 102.7 Fever & chills ... mild headache and body aches
So the fever is down to 100.1. I can deal with that. Some body aches & head ache, which to me feels like I am sorely depleted in minerals (which is how I feel if I have not taken any mag & potassium for awhile, I then feel this deep acheyness everywhere... similar to now).

For a flu, this is pretty weak, imho. But I'm not complaining... hf

Get a good drunk on with vodka. Shit in the blood will kill the virus. Plus you'll feel better.

WEll I went back to work this mornign because I actually felt about 80%. But by 3pm I was really dragging... got the fever back (101.6 was the highest it went though). I am now fighting a head cold. I HATE head colds... I would rather have the flu. Sigh.

Anways just wanted to comment that I finally decided to try the baking soda and water and that seems to really help. I felt the fever backing off and also the congestion (a little) after I took it. I made a glass full with ice to keep next to the bed if I wake up thirsty in the middle of the night.

Stop overusing vitamin C for a start. Then just relax and drink lots of water.

I've been taking 3000mg Vit c a day since Christmas. WHat happens with overuse? I thought you pee it out if your body doesn't use it?
 Quoting: tandym

Don't listen to this shill, it's okay to overuse vitamin, I was sick from december 28 to january 8 and I was not sick anymore, I was cured, I took vitamin c everyday, dxm cough syrop, drank hot tea, hot soup, ate fruits and veggies and you will be cured

You should Definitely take the oil of oregano!! You need something bitter to help break the fever.

Also, lots of rest & sleep. Manuka honey, herbal tea/s & a light diet.
