when i was a teenager i could do the same, I'd condition myself to the weather... these days... not happening... I got used to 125 degree plus temps and the cold tolerance aint happening.

but I can sit in extreme heat and be as happy as hell lol

one of the keys to this is to take control of your own health

learn how to eat a good diet and not treat your body like a

dumpster and this will go a long way to increasing

Well I wouldn't consider myself a teenager anymore, but I'm almost 24 now.

I bet you could still work on your cold conditioning. It also has a lot to do with the mind. I guess that's why teenagers probably have it easier, because they don't give a fuck anyway. Honestly though, it is part mind game, part volition. :D

I don't remember the last time I got really sick. Probably because I keep myself pickled all the time.

People don't have a poor diet because they choose to, they have a poor diet because GOOD food is expensive and the crops grown / GMO commercially are crap too.

I take Solar Ray Spectro multi-vits and they are simply amazing... but I still succumb to something either during the fall, or the spring.

You can harp all you want and use your logical fallacies to 'justify' your MO...but a spades a spade.

And by succumb i mean, head congestion or chest. Never anything else. I can't tell you the last time I puked - it feels like forever.

Typically too, I might feel a 'bug' coming out... typically it does go out... but ya know, into the toilet kind of out.

But IDK, maybe it is allergies but like here in Ohio, it was nearly 40ish.

Then, the weather flips completely back, we have snow and it is -6F, and what do you know.. I wake up with sinus / chest congestion and a slight fever.

So where do viruses come from ...?

Most likely its forign pollen and spores making you feel sick and triggering allergies

Last summer when i got sick it was right after one of those derecho thunderstorms... i was outside when it passed over and the wind hit against me hard...

a few others who was out in it got sick afterwards too.

Saying that you never get sick is like saying that you won't die, tis bullshit. I get sick, but very rarely untill a couple of days ago. Before then I had been two years strong without a cold, but now the COLD has given me susception to a cold. Cough cough, sniff sniff.


I don't always get sick but when I do, I uhHUGGHHGGHHUHGH, sorry i'm sick.

I rarely get sick. Probably one flue in the last tent years.

My kids got the swine flue when that went around. One was in the hospital on IV's. they were coughing in my face for ten days. I got sick for about six hours. Very mild symptoms. But my immune system crushed it dead and I drove on like a champ.

So saying i never get sick is not entirely accurate. But I can say I almost never get sick.

Don't remember the last time I had an ordinary head cold. My last illness was severe lethargy and body aches, night-time fever, loss of appetite and an annoying choking dry cough in late 2011. Lost about 10 lbs. That finally went away after shoring up my diet back to a more healthy vegan way. I had really fallen of the bandwagon and wasn't eating healthy when that came on. I suspect it was an adult case of whooping cough. It was running rampant here in California at the time.

Before that it was 5-10 years since I was ever sick with anything. I just can't remember. My only sick times is from bad hangovers when I vomit the next day. Haha... actually, I think food poisoning was my other last bad illness with vomiting followed by painful diarrhea lasting all night. (Bad yogurt!) I've never had a flu shot in my life and will never take one since I don't care to get any auto-immune diseases.

Every time you come home from shopping or being out in public, wash your hands. Don't touch your face when you are out in public.

I am one of these people who claim to never get sick but only because I used to always get sick, hell I used to do it on purpose for the exact reason you mention. I did it to build my immunity.

I have not been sick in over 15 years.
