If they want halal McDonald's, why don't they start one up themselves or go back to Saudi Arabia.

Had they never advertised it as such, there's be no room for a lawsuit. Exactly. This is a case of false advertising, not unlike the fiasco where horse meat was being sold as beef at Tesco. I'm sure vegetarians would be just as pissed if they found out meat was being put in their veggie burgers. I think consumers have a right to insist on honest labeling. Sheesh, I wish they labeled GMO foods, because I don't want to have anything to do with that crap. However, if they did label it, and I found out later that I'd been eating GMO food advertised as non-GMO, I'd pitch a fit.
