Message Subject This weekend's major earthquake...

I've never posted or discussed this anywhere or with anyone, but I thought I'd share this now in this thread. I'll note that I don't believe in dreams having any sort of predictive meaning for things out of our personal control.

I keep a dream journal that I update whenever I have memorable dreams. Here's a paste from my journal:

There was a major earthquake (8.x) somewhere. I was refreshing the USGS Earthquake website and another 8.x earthquake happened in the same vicinity, but a couple hundred miles away or so."

Less than a month later, twin quakes (8.6 and 8.2) took place near Indonesia, and were a good distance apart (100+ miles I believe). That kind of freaked me out, I'm not going to lie.

I haven't had a memorable earthquake dream since then, until last night/this morning.

I was again browsing the USGS Earthquake website and there were earthquakes in the 6.x range showing up in numerous places across the United States. Then two 7.x earthquakes showed up in Alaska, capped off with a 9.4 quake in Alaska.

In my dream I recall speculating to my brother that there was probably only 1 quake, the 9.4 one, and the other quakes showing up were just anomalous, kind of like the 5.x quake that briefly showed up on the USGS site off the coast of California when the deep 7.7 quake hit off the NE coast of Russia last year.

I woke up and jotted down some notes about the dream and went back to sleep. I started having the exact same dream again with only some minor differences as far as how myself and my family reacted to what was happening.
