We could have been a British territory. Their support of the Revolutionary war caused the use of the guillotine on their politicians and monarchy because it made France go broke. Win/Win! |

Judysalmon User ID: 7749211 United States 01/22/2013 11:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | here is a great article on the present Mali situation, Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7749211 with details of the battles since the French moved in on Jan. 14, 2013 (about a week ago) Northern Mali conflict (2012–present): [link to en.wikipedia.org] note: they are calling it the "Northern Mali Conflict". well the whole northern part of Mali in uninhabited desert. what's really happening is that the insurgents are trying to take control of the whole Eastern half of Southern Mali. and what is notable in this conflict is that evidently there are large numbers of people in Mali who don't want the Islamics to take over the country. (and this is the basic reason why France is intervening) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24473407 Those bullies can take care of themselves, right? Arm them and let them fight their own battles. well, the Mali government forces havent't been doing too good, so NATO is just going to help out a little bit. |

Let them take control of it. If they go FULL RETARD on the USA again they can then be carpet bombed on the nice flat ground. Again....is that land REALLY worth fighting over? Doubt it. Rommel called it wasteland too. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32880416 everyone's in this together. all of NATO is pouring in forces right now, even as we speak. (and the French took a chair at of table of "the Big 4 conquering powers" after WW2, without anyone's help, thank you very much.) Islam will be destroyed at all costs. |

Spirituality is a direct connection to Creator The Most high. Anyone who inflicts pain on others will suffer themself from that pain. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. |
