What should be done is to get a couple of those underwater bots like BP was using and make a proper show out of it. They would have no problem getting viewers I expect.

"Mysteries Of Atlantis Revealed! Tonight on..."

Of course it would turn a lot of established institutions upside down, but they are well overdue for that anyways.
