I would say because of 'civilization'...and it's not limited to the men either...check the poisons you take in and accumulate over the years...

However, being 'hunter/gatherers', some men (me included) put on weight around the waist as soon as they are very active for a longer period of time.
I developped a little tummy when I started running and Martial arts.
I've been told that that's because we used to hunt for our food and thus had to have some reserves to go on while hunting the food hence the belly or tummy...

I don't know if it's realy true but I like the explanation and it keeps me from doing excessive 'sit-ups' in order to loose those last two or three pounds...

Actually, my issue is in my neck. I have problems with the Atlas and axis. But I do agrr, and have for years, that it is good to clean out the colon from time to time. I just have learned over the years that when you start seeing sellers make impossible claims, they are selling crap. (pun)

When the pain starts to come, knees and backs thats when you have to do something. I don't eat much but try to keep my stress down by relaxing after a busy job.

I find the biggest problem is putting on my socks!

I dont bother with socks as i wear flip flops most of the time;/ Gives the varicous veins a break on my ankles as well.

Because they have to have their daily sodas and caffeine every single FUCKING day. Nevermind that the other telltail signs are rotting teeth and high emotions...oh no it just couldn't be THAT.

It's that and they also have to sit there and cook in front of a television that shoots off radiation trickle as well and congeals all of that in them to petrify. Why men are just so intent on killing themselves in this manner is beyond me but I have seen this time and time and time again.
