The Napoleonville Salt Dome collapse, formerly called the Bayou Corne "sinkhole," Napoleonville is a village in and the parish seat of Assumption Parish, in the U.S. state of Louisiana. [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Napoleon-Hidden Hand Napoleon Dynamite La. salt dome collapse 'sinkhole' lake might be 30 football fields large [ link to www.examiner.com] Super (Salt) Dome Collapse - The Bayou Corne/Assumption Parish, Louisiana SINKHOLE (Water Theme/GOM-BP OIL) developed in August 2012- 7 years after Katrina - which is 77 MILES West of New Orleans!! [ link to www.dailycomet.com] - According to the link above, scientists determined the sinkhole was caused when a subterranean cavern owned by Texas Brine LLC collapsed. The cavern sits thousands of feet below the surface in the Napoleonville Salt Dome - on 1/11, Will & Kate went to the gallery for Kate's portrait opening reception, which captured Will pulling a 'NAPOLEON' for the cameras! The city Napoleonville was named after the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (see pics below). I had a dream about the actor who played Napoloeon Dynamite just recently (dynamite-nuclear?!!)
