[link to m.washingtontimes.com] Quoting: Major Jim They don't need a missile that can reach the US; just what one that can get a payload into orbit. Which they just did. Once in orbit, use a reentry process to get the weapon to 200 or so KM' and no power. And guess where we would have to get replacement transformers? China. It would take years to get them made and shipped here. If the whole US was a impacted well over 5 years. Tens of millions dead. Hey. Wasn't there a thread a couple of weeks back about a contractor filling a rush order for bunkers for some Wall Street types? That article you linked is titled "PRY: North Korea EMP attack could destroy U.S. — now Obama must take immediate action North Korea now has an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of delivering a nuclear weapon to the United States, as demonstrated by their successful launch and orbiting of a satellite on Dec. 12" [link to www.washingtontimes.com] |

China uses North Korea as an independent military, removing themselves from any accountability. Rising tensions between China and the US.... What do you think will happen? For the first time in a long time I am really scared. This seems to me like political posturing. If the DPRK really does work for China, the US knows it. I imagine this is Chinas way of saying to the US, "Fuck off when it comes to our islands". China can't go and make a blunt statement like that without international backlash, so instead they get North Korea to make threats. It's expected from them, although this latest proclamation is a few stages above the usual rhetoric... I don't think there's anything to worry about, yet anyway. If China and Japan kick things off and the US gets involved, that would be when you should start worrying about a few things, least of which would be North Korea.
