Doompa Loompa User ID: 22652659 United States 01/24/2013 01:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's been downgraded to 3.9. I live about 24 miles east of the epicenter and didn't feel it. But some people 60 miles north felt it. I feel robbed :/ Paradox Valley gets small quakes once every few years induced by injecting brine deep in the Earth (mentioned on this USGS page) [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] There are also countless abandoned uranium mines everywhere. The epicenter is near an active copper mine and 5 miles from the site of a proposed new uranium mill. |
