This one goes on about snow then rain with maybe floods.
not a mention of a storm, high winds etc.
Maybe they are taking a leaf from the forecasters who failed on the Sandy storm so badly a few months ago and saying nothing, in case nothing happens:-

WTF are go babbling about? Are you referring to Sandy? Sandy hit NEW YORK CITY and LONG ISLAND,NY...NOT NEW ENGLAND.

And why wouldn't the people in NY ask for assistance? They'd be stupid not to. And insurers expect the government to assist. It's the way The System works. The reason property and homes are continually built in areas prone to hurricane damage, flooding, tornados, etc. is because the government in effect guarantees the homeowners against serious loss and provides assistance. Insurers love it, banks love, big box stores like home depot love, home contractors love it, landscapers and roofers love. What world are you living in?

there's very little coverage of this on our MSM weather forecasts.

So far all that's been said it lots of rain and some wind.

So this will either be an epic fail by Luis (I like his posts so hope not) or an epic fail by the MSM weather forecasters.

My parents are only 2.5m above sea level and 100 feet from the coast so I will be paying close attention.
