Any smart person would know you would make more than 100 mil with a technology like that.

I think it needs to be made clear to everyone that this is a car running on COMPRESSED air. It's not free energy you get out of atmospheric air. It's a method of energy storage just like batteries powering an electric generator.

There are some weight advantages to it, but there is not much energy capacity in a regular pressurized tank. At least, not at reasonable or safe pressures.

I hear that they have electric cars now that run without gas.

That just means they'll raise the price of fuel in ratio to the added efficiency...

More money for less fuel, that's the name of the oil game.

Coal -> High Voltage Electricity -> Long Distance Transmission -> Low Voltage Conversion -> Electric Compressor -> Compressed Air -> Kinetic Motion

...one of the least efficient ways I can think of to convert energy into motion.

TECHNOLOGY IS BEING SUPPRESSED. all for profit. why give it all away when we can give it piece by piece and maximize $$$

you know 2013 is when marty landed when he went forward into the future? i think exact date was january 20 2013 or something like that. and if you remember back to the future, they had hovering skateboards. you really think they dont have the technology for free energy and cars that run on water or air and the ability to spread wind and solar energy to a max?

did you know free electricity could of been given to us since early 1900's by Nikola Tesla? but was suppressed by the oriignal founder of the experiment JP MORGAN CHASE!!!! who then made sure nobody would invest in tesla's projects. food for thought.

we have the resources already to date that can cure world hunger and th rest of the world wouldnt have to work anymore.

They probably already knew of this technology years ago and water powered vehicles too.

It probably won't ever be released to the public in mass production though due to the oil companies. It would be great if it was though, but really doubt it will ever will be.

There's alot of technology that never gets released to the public and if it ever does it years after they know of it.

It doesn't "run on air". It runs on gas and uses compressed air as part of its duty cycle. Do you think that air magically compresses itself? It's just another hybrid.

Peugeot claims that drivers will save 45 percent on gas money if they do chose to purchase this vehicle once it is released.

Save "up to" 45%, which in car marketing terms means you'll be lucky to save 25%. In other words, this car gets maybe 25% better gas mileage than its standard form. It's another Prius at best.

Oh, and the Airpod is a TEN THOUSAND dollar option that will NEVER pay for itself. Is critical thinking dead?

why? if this works and is viable all exxon needs to do is buy them out, start making them and manage the transition. It could be a win win for everyone.

Utilizing the concept of regenerative braking is always a good idea if the price is right.
In addition, we get the benefit by crushing oil prices with compressed air and that is nothing short of brilliant!

What happens to those compressed air canisters during a collision? Are they flammable or is there a potential for them to explode?

It still uses gas, so it is very possible that they will allow it to pass.

Gasoline engines and those probably have the same explosive properties.

The car still runs on gas, but it also has compressed air. The air tanks might cause a pressure explosion, but they will probably encase them in hard steel so they are safe.

They did it to an engineer I knew. He's got a simple system that consists of basically just a vacuum hose. He runs a hose from the exhaust into the crank case so it operates in a vacuum. The pistons and rings are all floating witch means little to no friction between the rings and cylinder walls. 30% better gas mileage, 30% more power and you only have to change oil after 30 to 40,000 miles.

He built Zues I, II & III. Harley Davidson's that all won F.A.S.T (Fastest legal Street Harley) awards three years in a row because of this system. He also runs the same simple vacuum line to the transmission so it operates the same way, in a vacuum. He's got an old El Camino with over 300,000 miles on it and runs like new with oil changes every 40,000 miles.

He brought it to Detroit and they would have nothing to do with it. Then he got hit with all kinds of lawsuits so he dropped the project.

They are hidding a 100 year technology that could free us from oil slavery.

I reckon this car's appearance will be introduced after TSHTF with oil prices and consumerism, which will make it viable.

Any well known car company that comes out with these claims will be doing it with knowledge that the oil companies cut progress of other automotive companies, unless they've been alerted that this is the time they can bring in the tech.

50 minutes will be the first mass produced air powered car, because it will be very new to the mainstream. This has been done before, yet more efficient, so for this to only run 50 minutes means IT WILL be introduced, but it will be the first of it's kind. From there it will gradually increase in efficiency as demand for such cars increase - but the technology they possess will be far more advanced, but they like to filter feed the tech. down to us like animals.

Why do you think computer tech. has been quite slow since the introduction of i3,i5,i7 cores in 2010; yet the portable hard drives they are selling now (work off USB power ONLY) have been able to store 2TB of data, yet our laptops are still at 600GB.

For the same reasons these cars will be trickle fed to us.

But during this same time, petroleum run cars will still be sold, as an alternative for the 50 minute running air powered variety.
