What happens to those compressed air canisters during a collision? Are they flammable or is there a potential for them to explode?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29459894 Gasoline engines and those probably have the same explosive properties. The car still runs on gas, but it also has compressed air. The air tanks might cause a pressure explosion, but they will probably encase them in hard steel so they are safe.
