That definitely an LCD heads-up display. The translucence is nice. Which means that is cutting edge tech.

But the tech behind it is decades old. These eyeglass HUDs came about through DARPA funding developement back in the '90s. Remember the Mentis created by ISIS,Inc. down in Fla?

Yeah you prob don't remember those mini wearable PII computers with voice rec and SVGA LCD display eyeglasses.
Cost was about USD $12k. That was what '95 or '96.

Skip through IBM and Panasonic versions (some submersible) that also utilized Cyrix processors that never overheated and didn't need to be cooled. Boy that tech sure disappeared fast. I believe it was AMD that bought out that tech so you might want to query them as to why they are keeping it buried.

Good catch OP. I had seen the other day that her glasses were off between eyes. Looks like a HUD, and she is holding them that like so she can focus, and sort of not look out of the other eye. It causes your eyes to water, and that is why here eyes look like that.

But hey, she is out of here; It does not really matter, because she does not really matter anymore.
