Feb. 16th is a Saturday. That would not matter, of course, if we are talking about an asteroid but I doubt North Korea would attack on that date. Maybe.
North Korea would probably try to detonate a nuclear bomb over the U.S. from orbit. This is very possible. Depending on what their ultimate intention is they may need to simply reach the west coast of the U.S. and it would knock out all electronics.
