The dancer is Kali. I'm not totally familiar with the Hindu religion so I'm going on the info I looked up.

Kali is known by her tongue. She is also known as "black" and a mother figure. She defeats the demons, those that live off the solar and lunar currents.

She destroys ignorance and maintains world order. She blesses those that seek knowledge of the "divine".

She is death and the transformation of it.

Interesting aspects in the film...

One - It is not actually her, it is a "person" wearing the mask of Kali. You can see there is another headdress under hers and he does not have the multiple arms she has.

Two - Her tongue is first shown as bitten. Kali bites her tongue after she dances and after she claims her husband.

Three - Her tongue is repaired in the second viewing of her and it is shorter.

Four - She first steps with her right foot, Dakshina Kali, which means she is benign, the preserver rather than the destroyer.

That's all I have for now.

Yeah, I think he's not been asked the really good questions and I don't think all his answers are depicted as being truthful / at least not in the generalization of the masses. I believe the "Christ Figure" is the anti-christ, he doesn't agree with this.

If you look carefully you will notice she is transforming into different animals throughout her dance. At the end of the dance she transforms into and enlightened light being. Watch it with this idea in mind and you will see what I mean.
