Gnostics did not believe in the ressurection. Quoting: Mike Hawk You really do not have even so much as one clue, do you? The Treatise On the Resurrection, in which Jesus is referred to directly or indirectly a number of times, asserts the existence of 3 resurrections; the physical, the psychic and the spiritual; the physical referring to physical rebirth, the psychic referring to the revelation of the memories of previous lives, and the spiritual referring to the Revelation of the Memory of Creation and of the consciousness of man at the moment of Creation, prior to the 'fallen' consciousness of the "self" and the 'thinker', as explained in more detail in the Gospel of Thomas. It was for teaching the Doctrine of "resurrection" as a Doctrine of 'rebirth' that Paul held them to be heretics (2 Timothy 2:16-18) Michael
