When Sandy Hook massacre was occurring, where was the National Inquirer, Star, The Globe, etc?
Something that has puzzled me from the beginning is the lack of media pictures and videos of the aftermath of this event.

Even stranger, that the best the Enquirer and Star can come up with for photos is the same that are being recycled on TV and on the internet. We all know that The Enquirer and Star are relentless in getting pictures of dead people, especially in funeral homes, at funerals, etc. What the hell is up with none of these rags getting any special photos that no one else would get? What about TMZ, always the first to get the most gruesome or sometimes too personal photos on the web?

Does anyone find it strange that these papers/websites have absolutely nothing on this event at all? It's kind of scary to me, considering they have no scruples and don't give a shit who's privacy they invade normally......something's not right here!wtf

shit like this makes me laugh...

Literally it happened in BFE (Butt Fuck Egypt). No way any of those fucks could have been there in a reasonable time frame before local/amateur/idiot journalists.

If this had happened in a large metropolis...that's a whole other thing..

You people are grasping at straws.

Well I am glad to have made you laugh tonight by posting shit like this! sockpuppet

There was PLENTY of time for them to grab photos, even if they got there four or five hours after the event. They didn't get anything at all, they're using recycled pictures that we've all seen over and over again. I just found it strange that these type of papers didn't have something different than the rest of them. That was all that I was questioning. I am not saying they would have had the first story, nor did I say it was right of them to invade privacy in this or other stories, I am just saying that I find it strange that these particular rags, to which have no scruples what so ever, had nothing new or different.

I hope my shit makes you laugh harder after reading it! poop

I actually agree after all weren't we told they didn't remove the bodies until what 1am so that would of been plenty of time for someone to get there. So I have to agree!!

Your observation is right on, OP.

But these tabloids are not run the same as they were several years ago. I think they have been taken over by the MSM, in terms of what they are allowed to cover.

I also agree. I posted a similar remark about the tabloids and some shill also blasted my comment. It seems 30% of the posts on GLP are shills/idiots. Is there somewhere else we can communicate without all of the crap?

Thanks, folks, for the great replies. I was beginning to think only shills would comment, lol.

It's so funny, as these guy and gal photographers from these rags climb trees and hike wherever to get the first photo. May you're right, perhaps they are being controlled, at least in this incident. Yet, I've never know the Enquirer to back down from anyone, no matter what the story.

This whole thing is surreal........

I can't speak for GLP, but as a former Moderator at both a hockey board and a political board, I can tell you that they are very hard to control. Even when you ban their IP's, they still get through with either proxies, or go to friends' houses, libraries, etc. They can be relentless. It's too hard now to try to ban them all, it would be a full time job, no word of lie.

It seems like half of the threads are made up of antagonizing shills. Are members allowed to put them on ignore? I'm not a member, so I don't know what the special privileges are, but it is tempting to join if they have that feature alone. It gets old after awhile being attacked.

good question - i'll cite the weekly world? news of the world? tabloid editor in fla killed with anthrax following 9/11/01. those you cited had their independence curtailed soon thereafter that
