I looked at the site and the best I can make of it, is that it is language created by fusing several common languages together to make words. I can make out a few dutch words, french, spanish, german and italian. It would seem that they are thrown together somehow. Perhaps that is the key. |

See if you can figure out some words too. |

At that time the site which kept coming up was 'translable', and that seems to be have replaced with the site called 'translatish', all very suspicious IMHO, given the person I was investigating was possibly underworld... |

I am looking at words and their groupings. I may be wrong on a few words of course, but the majority of words are derived from english, from what I can tell. Then there are other languages too words are taken from, these are shortened too. |

I can just translate it as I go. Someone once said something to me in Swahilili and said, "You will never guess what I just said to you, in a million years" and I said, "You said 'I have a nice ass'." and I totally blew him away! He could never figure out how I knew it. I am pretty good at linguistics I guess. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 31938047 United States 01/25/2013 07:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks for that. I am pretty sure this is not cryptic or even a language at all. Try saying the words outloud in the website, and listen for what the word sounds like. It almost gives itself away have the time on what the real word was substituted for. This person knew some languages though because they borrow words from spanish, german, and french. I think they might have even known the russian alphabet because "supob" is actually the word "super". I am guessing that this was probably invented by someone who knew a few languages, but not real fluently, otherwise the person wouldn't have taken out syllables from english words to make a new word. He or she would have probably used more foreign words I think. |

But given key word searches, vs results when you search for any suspect topic/person, this language is highly suspect... So much so I felt inclined to report it to the AFP (Australian Federal Police) a year ago when I thought it was related to paedophiles... but to no apparent avail... just put any key word with 'translatish' and draw your own conclusions... no one seems to care apparently! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 31938047 United States 01/25/2013 07:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OMG, I think I figured it out. I don't know why I didn't see it before. Translatish is not a website. It is a translation service. The original website that it had come from was written in Polish. It must be like a wikipedia like website for some kind of historical articles in Polish. I first noticed the similarities of wikipedia to this website. The original website was polish origin, and it was sent to a server to translate it but many words won't translate properly and they still come out mixed up like half english half polish. The original website is Polish, and Polish is a weird ass language. |
