That's kinda twisted.

I don't know the details of this bill, but is it possible that the girls are getting free abortions on account of a rape but are not making charges with the police?

seems like this law basically means prove it's rape or don't have an abortion at taxpayers expense

Notice the word INTENT used a lot in there? They would be charged if the courts could PROVE that it was the victim or a coercers INTENT to purposefully cover up evidence of the crime, which IS evidence tampering.

"Tampering with evidence shall include procuring
or facilitating an abortion, or compelling or coercing another
to obtain an abortion, of a fetus that is the result of
criminal sexual penetration or incest with the intent to
destroy evidence of the crime."

Probably why it seems the only places covering this are far left rags and feminist blogs. As far as I can tell the main goal of this is to make it a crime for an offender to coerce a victim to have an abortion.

I couldn't find too many non feminist sites that were covering this! And I couldn't find the bill itself! Thank you for showing it. It did not sound quite right from everything I was reading which is why i posted it here. I was sure someone would shed light on it!
