Tecumseh was a Shawnee chief who led a confederacy of Native resistance.

It was his brother nicknamed "Prophet" who predicted the quake and called it as a sign to mark the uprising. He was also credited with the prophecy of a President dying in office every twenty years - a curse which was not lifted till Ronald Reagan took office.

Tecumseh' forces joined with the Upper Canadian militias and British regulars during the war of 1812. The natives did a lot of the fighting in that war. Tecumseh died at the Battle of Moraviantown.

American troops skinned his body and sold the skin in Kentucky as razor straps.

After the war, the British sold out the tribes of the western confederacy in return for enlisting the USA in the Rothschild banking scam.

Tecumseh was a very interesting man. The stick thing that Tecumseh did with all the other chiefs was pretty cool. After all the sticks were gone... the 1811 New Madrid earthquake struck....

There is a mountain named Tecumseh in the Crow's Nest Pass area of southern Alberta.
