serious question; are we forever going to rely on 200 year old economics?

why is it that we only have dictatorship, socialism, communism, capitalism, and democracy?

isnt it time to re-think our social culture to something more modern and benficial for all?

i mean.

i think the resource based economy seems like a legit out of the box modern idea.

what do you guys think about the questions i pose?
