My understanding is unless you want to live in a cave then it's useless. You cannot hide,every word,keystroke,phone call,movement...everything....every waking moment and in a few years even thoughts. Truman show 24/7 It's built into everything and has been for years. The ability to monitor you doesn't mean it's being used it's just there. But maybe you're interesting and it is being used. I would feel sorry for the poor bored bastard who has the dubious task to monitor me.
