This 18 month old had such a horrible death and all you care about is your star rating? When someone posts such a story it's not a time to start complaining about such things.

it is shocking. But why are people surprised? Vlad the impaler killed many small children in unthinkable manners.

i see your point and I can see you are correct. But if these stories generate outrage and outrage becomes anger then maybe we could sometimes from case to case have one of those angry villagers with pitchforks kind of scenes where they tear these fellows who do this sort of thing apart. It's not real justice doesn't prevent the next act and probably wouldn't happen often but would it be high entertainment if nothing else and people can have the momentary satisfaction and say well at least we did this to the fellow who did that terrible thing. That would be something I guess.

i commented several times on how only a mad man would commit such a crime and alcohol was not a factor in his actions.

Boy, we've got some real winners in this world.

A similar incident ocurred here in British Columbia.

A good friend of mine related the story to me. A good friend of his was working for children's services in the BC government. A woman in Nanaimo, BC reported her baby as missing. I forget the age but it was a very young child. The police began searching.

As time went on, the police started to find the woman's behavior strange. Meanwhile, the woman from the chidren's services was assigned to visit her from time to time to obviously offer her support during this time of crisis but also to assess her mental health.

At one point, they were sitting in the kitchen, and the mother left the room. My friend's friend went to the refrigerator and looked inside on an intuition, and inside the fridge were containers in which were parts of her baby. The woman had been making soup out of her own baby.

Horrible.

As I read over all the posts, I can't help but notice that everybody in here is trying to find a scapegoat for why this happened.
