Two years ago Macomb County suddenly "community reorganized" from representative gov't to executive gov't under the guise of "saving money" because of the 2008 economic collapse, and the idiot's here fell for it. The former sheriff whose father was sheriff and imprisoned for rape, successfully took the new crown as head of the county. When this happened they installed an interim sheriff who none of us were allowed to vote for, and recently was reselected in November. All the local gov't are transferring their control to this new executive, his installed sheriff and their Agenda 21 "sustainable future." An example of this is all the local police departments recently handed over their dispatchers to a new high tech "central command center" that belongs to the sheriff because they claim they could no longer afford to maintain and keep up with the "changes" in technology advances. This is the short story of our local corrupt gov't selling out to the commie feds of big brother. It's much worse. None of us here are protected by the sheriff no one of ever heard of or knew before he was installed 2 years ago. The 0vomit commie goons in D.C. guaranteed the Macomb County Sheriff plenty of fed fiat greenbacks to guarantee their power over us and broke the state constitution to do it without a whimper from dumbed down lemmings. The various large MSAs and the states have been overtaking Sheriff department budgets for as long as I've been around - slowly squeezing the lifeblood out of them wherever possible. Subsequently, many of the departments here at least are relegated to the court rooms and rural areas, with hardly sufficient resources to do even that. What we as a people need to do is make our voices heard on this fact, and begin to force our legislators to rekindle their power. In addition, and in light of recent insanity, I think it time to begin a mass effort by the citizenry of each county to begin volunteering for reserve duty. While sheriffs may not have the funds today, they remain the most powerful elected officials in their respective counties, and any deputy of same by extension. So, if we have to begin footing the bill personally to assist them enforcing this power appropriately should others continue to get the big head, I for one would be more than willing. In fact, I am looking into this now within my own county, and suggest others do the same. Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth. |

Any more? The article says they tried this before..... I just dont see how it could happen, it would take forever. However, the thought of them attempting to push this thru, with zero media attention is really scary. It further goes to show the media biasness.
