I grow up in the 90's, that was my era, the era of my life. I consider myself a privileged person, to live this time.

I'm not a baby of the 80's, but I appreciate it with having The Music, the chics (more natural that what you are accostumed to see) , and if you will oblige me in a decade of th 20th century for R&R, I will be glad to be sent again to the 80's...

The Eighties was horrorible, the Iron Curtain,
all the nuclear Rockets, Afghanistan, millions
of Death in the Sahel, Ronald Reagan and many
other warui People!

Music was very limited and all the People listened
to their Walkman!

All the sounds all these kids hear from old Roland synthesizers and 808 beats in their music came from the 80's! Sounds were invented then, now just borrowing from that sound.

And to Japan Man up there, things weren't perfect, and they never were on this earth.. however OP has a point, kids actually played outside, even though we had nintendo, it never took the place of climbing trees.. drank from the water hose.. shit i could go on all day.

I came of the age in the 80's; I'd take that era hands down in lieu of the living hell we are in now.

I went to Brown University, grad of 1983

I went to school up from RISD, where the Talking Heads graduated

I had U2 play at my school, WBRU played would be playing Squeeze, Thomas Dolby and Elvis Costello all day long.

I am totally spoiled as far as music

I love that era...and the early to mid 90s. I had friends working in Santa Cruz, part of the internet revolution. We would joke about how one "Net" week was like 50 regular weeks, things were changing so fast

Unfortunately technology is turning toxic, like something from a William Gibson novel....

Tht was the eighties, dig it. I know I have been acting like a dick on this thread. But, my pet peeve is " remember when" talk. Regardless, this is the first movie that I really remember.
