I am so happy there are going to be a minimum of 100 people, from all over the world taking part!

As of now, still 27.5 hours away from "the moment" we have over 100 people who have agreed to take part!

I do not know if I was being trolled, as Windy Mind suggested, or if the say-nay-ers were being serious...but I suppose I should provide some disclosure.

I have not financial interest in this consciousness experiment. I am not interested in praise or glory for organizing it. I am not looking to persuade anyone against their will to participate.

I *am* interested in using my power as a spiritual being, in connection with the power of my brothers and sisters all throughout the world, to use the power of our minds/souls/consciousness/intention/heart to make this hurting , damaged world a better, kinder, more loving place!

After this it would be nice to know how many of glp-ers participated,I would like to know,poll of some kind. Last time I saw something like this was in July I think,felt great.

We are one with the universe. Not just being sentimental, but from a quantum perspective its very true. Everything in this universe is connected, regardless of whether we choose to embrace it or not.

From a psychological perspective it is too. We create our own realities, and the choice to adopt a positive perspective, coupled with positive actions, percolates both inwards and outwards.

What about the people that lived before you? Did they just get a bad deal because they were not born during the technological age?

So all the people being butchered in the Middle East and Africa did they create there own realities, what about people born to material wealth or poverty did they create there own realities? What about babies born deformed? Did they create there own realities?

What about 55 Billion souls who have been murdered in there mother's womb, did they have a chance to create there own realities?

Just who is the universe listening to.

I think the principles apply for people who lived in the past as well. Technology is a double edged sword in some regards, and regardless of technology, I think progress comes from trying to make the best out of current circumstance; however unfortunate it may be. Our mindset influences our outlooks and actions, and those actions ripple out through time; as have those of people living before us. Our mindset also shapes our sensory experiences (from both internal and external stimuli) through selective filtering, so in that regard it shapes our perceived reality, as it does for everyone else.

I am not making the claim that life is fair or just. I recognize fully that there is a horrible amount of suffering that has occured, and continues to occur. But even in the most devastating of circumstance, we have the power to change our perception of it (Life is Beautiful style). I also understand that it is not simple, and that people who have suffered tremendously have been largely disempowered, but for those of us comfortable and fortunate enough to be debating it, we have many choices. Its not easy to choose to hope in a world often filled with despair and/or negative influence, and for some its much more difficult than it is for others because of past experiences and circumstance, but we can always make choices about how we focus our attention and efforts.

That the world is full of ugliness is the very reason that I think it is so important for us to maintain positive outlooks and take positive actions. I very much want it to be a place where all people can flourish, and I think the way to do that is by spreading love, kindness, honesty, compassion and understanding. And by respectfully discussing these things with others as to mutually enhance our perspectives and those of others, when we can, and promote a more integrated collective effort.

I really dont think of the universe as a sentient being in any sense that we can appreciate, so do I think it is listening? Definitely not in a conventional auditory sense. But I do believe that we are all a part of it, and have the capacity to choose how we want our presence to influence the world around us, and the world we leave to future generations.
