Towns around the southeast Queensland city of Bundaberg could spend up to two days without power after five tornadoes wreaked havoc
up to two days without power after five tornadoes wreaked havoc in the area on Australia Day. Burnett Heads and nearby Bargara were declared disaster areas after twisters ripped through the coastal townships from 1pm AEST on Saturday, injuring a total of 17 people and damaging more than 150 homes. Two people were critically injured when a giant pine tree fell on their parked car on the Esplanade at Bargara, while two homes were completely destroyed in the mini-cyclone that struck Burnett Heads. Authorities said Burnett Heads was again struck by the latest in the series of twisters, which hit the area at 6pm AEST and 6.30pm. Two people were believed to have been injured in the second onslaught, with powerlines down and at least one roof torn from a home. And the Bureau of Meteorology says the worst may be yet to come. It has forecast the "strong possibility" of further tornado activity around Burnett Heads, Wide Bay and at Maryborough, south of Bundaberg.

It's the monsoon season guys - it's happens. Likely not twisters - they are pretty rare here it's just a seasonal occurrence, one area or another on the northern eat coast tends to end up bearing the brunt. To those in the area - stay safe guys, hope the clean up isn't too bad.

Jeremias (Jeremiah) 16:[16] Behold I will send many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them: and after this I will send them many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

[17] For my eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, and their iniquity hath not been hid from my eyes. [18] And I will repay first their double iniquities, and their sins: because they have defiled my land with the carcasses of their idols, and they have filled my inheritance with their abominations.

Esther 16: [4] Neither are they content not to return thanks for benefits received, and to violate in themselves the laws of humanity, but they think they can also escape the justice of God who seeth all things.

Psalms 57: [2] If in very deed you speak justice: judge right things, ye sons of men. [3] For in your heart you work iniquity: your hands forge injustice in the earth. [4] The wicked are alienated from the womb; they have gone astray from the womb: they have spoken false things. [5] Their madness is according to the likeness of a serpent: like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ears:

[6] Which will not hear the voice of the charmers; nor of the wizard that charmeth wisely. [7] God shall break in pieces their teeth in their mouth: the Lord shall break the grinders of the lions. [8] They shall come to nothing, like water running down; he hath bent his bow till they be weakened. [9] Like wax that melteth they shall be taken away: fire hath fallen on them, and they shall not see the sun. [10] Before your thorns could know the brier; he swalloweth them up, as alive, in his wrath.

[11] The just shall rejoice when he shall see the revenge: he shall wash his hands in the blood of the sinner. [12] And man shall say: If indeed there be fruit to the just: there is indeed a God that judgeth them on the earth.

Jeremias (Jeremiah) 12: [16] And it shall come to pass, if they will be taught, and will learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name: The Lord liveth, as they have taught my people to swear by baal: that they shall be built up in the midst of my people. [17] But if they will not hear, I will utterly pluck out and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

More recently (post-1970s), immigration from South-East Asia and the Middle East has expanded Buddhist and Muslim numbers considerably and increased the ethnic diversity of existing Christian denominations.

As has been the trend throughout the world since the September 11 attacks, there has been an increasingly strained relationship between the adherents of Islam and the wider community.[citation needed] Attempts have been made to bridge inter-faith differences. However, the influence of the identity politics as a whole is not to be discounted in this respects; reflected in the conflicting and ambiguous interpretation of the 2005 race riots in Cronulla, near Sydney.[citation needed]

LOL two days without power is not the end of the world.

Remember that crazy "ice storm" in the bible belt a few years back?
We were without power for like two or three weeks and there was a solid 4 inches of ice on everything bringing down all the power lines.

Re: Towns around the southeast Queensland city of Bundaberg could spend up to two days without power after five tornadoes wreaked havoc
LOL two days without power is not the end of the world.

Remember that crazy "ice storm" in the bible belt a few years back?
We were without power for like two or three weeks and there was a solid 4 inches of ice on everything bringing down all the power lines.

Shit was cray.

I've thought of a way to solve your terrible two day energy crisis, BTW.
Stick a bunch of dingoes in a giant hamster wheel that's connected to a turbine, with a human baby at the other end.
Free renewable green energy.. Assuming the dingo doesn't eat your baby. :p
