I love being on stage. If I could I'd be on it every night.

I used to do Church plays when I was a teenager that would be in front 200-300 people. I dont go to church anymore so thats not happening these days.

But I guess I learned to over come my nerves back then. Still get the butterflies before but during... oh god its awesome

But I loved doing plays... this area is so small and dead... it has no plays or any chances for the 'arts to grow.

the longest running experiences I had was in music. I formed a lil band of 3 people... sometimes we'd have 5 or 6 lol it was random, some of my friends would just show up before the show with their gear and wanted to play.
Fuck it, I'd let em. They knew the songs good enough, we'd play a bunch of covers and a few originals.

We'd do festivals...
not big giant festivals like wacken or summer breeze lol

but smaller events. Local festivals,
did two small metal festivals one in memphis and one in Pennsylvania.
Played at a few lounges and bars... anywhere that would let us play Death Metal.

I prolly played 20 some shows with that band.
which was called
"Big Red Behemoth" totally stupid name... came up with it cos the first practice we ever did... everyone showed up with red instruments. and it stuck.

But that was over 6 years ago. I got a few pics from back then, but we didnt have a video camera so there's no footage :-\

I played guitar and did the vocals.

I can play bass, and play drums (decently enough lol)

So when 'BRB dissolved I used to do back up for some of my friends who had bands. got to play every once in a while/blue moon.

oh when I was 19 I got a gig for 2 weeks every night at this former Jazz lounge... as part of the house band. That was a blast!!!

havent done anything live in a while though
and it really sucks... its not living to me.

I misses it so much.
