You are correct the government is not responsible for our lives or how we live instead they have a responsibility to us and that is not to meddle in our lives and forever thinking of new ways to impede our freedoms with an ever growing forcefulness.

People’s greed and sense and entitlement mindset sets one against the other as being more worthy of assistance from “dear leader” and they fail to consider that obamacare was whored out to be affordable healthcare and it appears people still believe it is free.

Further as with all social healthcare systems bar none it is a metered program and what the self righteous fail to understand that on spite of all they might do you will find the government confiscating your retirement funds, savings and checking accounts or any gold you might have socked away.
