Are you just talking to yourself?
Id rather die enormous than live dormant

Dear sir, poor sir, brave sir: You are an experiment by the Creator of the Universe. You are the only creature in the entire Universe who has free will. You are the only one who has to figure out what to do next--and why. Everybody else is a robot, a machine.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in

With no comment to leave here…
A system that is sensitively tuned is
only senselessness
Understood as reality
A comedic improbable farce
It’s no joke, or is it?
Independence no longer means freedom
but somehow
mental lethargy
appears jokingly

Cooperate is with the corporation
and dignity has obligations

I’m not serving that finely tuned system
I’m shaking the shit out of it
Fundamental shitty values.

Independence
is
not
true
freedom
if
under
any
rules

A world without order
Where sharing
Has no rules

Who would follow, but a fool?

Google Is Working On A Technology That, If Perfected, Would Save 1.2 Million Lives Per Year

Self-driving cars.

According to the U.S. census, 33,808 people died in car crashes in the U.S. in 2009 — 37,423 in 2008. According to the World Health Organization, 1.2 million people die in car crashes around the world each year.

A source familiar with Google's self-driving car program tells us that one of its primary goals is to eliminate the ~99 percent of those deaths that are caused by "human error."

Multiplex Automated Genomic Engineering (MAGE)

A machine that speeds up evolution is revolutionizing genome design

The breadth of genomic diversity found among organisms in nature allows populations to adapt to diverse environments. However, genomic diversity is difficult to generate in the laboratory and new phenotypes do not easily arise on practical timescales. Although in vitro and directed evolution methods have created genetic variants with usefully altered phenotypes, these methods are limited to laborious and serial manipulation of single genes and are not used for parallel and continuous directed evolution of gene networks or genomes.

Here, we describe multiplex automated genome engineering (MAGE) for large-scale programming and evolution of cells. MAGE simultaneously targets many locations on the chromosome for modification in a single cell or across a population of cells, thus producing combinatorial genomic diversity. Because the process is cyclical and scalable, we constructed prototype devices that automate the MAGE technology to facilitate rapid and continuous generation of a diverse set of genetic changes (mismatches, insertions, deletions).

Technology taking the seeds of mother nature:

Our multiplex approach embraces engineering in the context of evolution
by expediting the design and evolution of organisms with new and improved properties.

In the world of technology:

"Today people live more by virtue of what the system does
for them or to them
than by virtue of what they do for themselves
.

And what they do for themselves is done more and more
along channels laid down by the system.

Opportunities tend to be those that the system provides,
the opportunities must be exploited in accord with the rules and regulations,
and techniques prescribed by experts must be followed if there is to be a chance of success."

In the world of freedom:

People thrive by the virtue of what they do for others
We revitalize by creating own channels
With the imagination, making any future possible
No opportunity is out of our reach,
We can invent techniques to solve problems, because
There is no prescribed rule for success,
In unregulated nature- we have freedom to create

You know, I've pondered upon this same subject before.

And I've been thinking. Say that a small group of people were to choose freedom, by leaving the rest of society behind, and starting a new primitive tribe, without the benefits of current technology...

Would that be the reason why we've found scattered tribes, such as the Native Americans, or the Australian Aboriginals, seemingly removed from the rest of humankind, in the past?

Reminds me of that mythical snake that continually devours and rebirths itself, the cycle of time, of civilisation.

Thanks for your question/comment Woozley! I like the thought, but can’t take it very far, unless you could please explain what you mean how one thing, Technology in its sum, is in equality with the sum of thing of witchcraft.

I hear what you are saying; there are bits of truth in everything, witchcraft, wizardry, fairies, magic,….and from each bit we create the big picture. But I do not possess the logic to equate the two things you listed above in their entirety, but I could equate bits and pieces of the elements of each.

The bits and pieces connect to make the big picture…

We decide to connect the bits through technology or freedom…There is also the argument they can both exist, which is an ecological contradiction.

If we ask our natural born innate beating heart, we know the answer.
