Men, would you get into a serious relationship with a woman that has had more partners than you? What's your limit?

There is a double standard that says we men are "allowed" to bang more women without it being unrighteous. I hold myself to equal expectations though with any female that wants me to take her serious.

I've had sex - great, amazing, all night long love making that wakes the neighbors and scares the alley cats - with 4 women in my life. At the time, each woman felt like someone I could raise a child with if the situation arose.

All that is to say that while quantity is a factor to some degree, there is no correct set number as long as both people appreciate and respect the art that subliminally drives our species more than anything else.

It's worth noting that with girls I've dated, broken up, dated other people then gotten back together with, while it may sound presumptuous, if either of us fucked someone else during a break, we're done, regardless how much she regrets her indiscretions. It's difficult to understand how anyone can "take a break" from wanting only one person in the world to love them. Perhaps, I'm just naive about relationships in that regard.

It's actually the same standard, but it is measured differently for men and women because men and women are different.

Still, anyone who sleeps around without a serious relationship loses dignity, but men are naturally inclined for mating with several women, while women with only one man.

Whenever I thought a guy slept with a lot of women, it was an instant turn-off. Then I dated 2 guys in a row who had both slept with lots of women and they were both amazing...so now I actually sort of prefer it. Wierd but true. Dunno if girls that have had lots of partners are the same tho.

It's a debatable perspective. In my experience, I'm more likely to get the home run when a woman believes that I know what I'm doing via experience. But, how much can you trust a guy that only sees you for the physical (as opposed to mental) pleasure that you are capable of providing?

It all depends if you want a women or a lady!

I've had hundreds of partners so I'd probably be a hypocrite if it bugged me.

At my age could be. I've been with something between 70-85 women. About 55 or so before I got married, and the rest after.


When I was with the girl/woman I married and during marraige I never straid. Can't say the same for her.


Now it probably wouldn't matter to me if I think she had what it takes.

When I was younger and for marraige? Hell no. I've never even remotely found any woman with my discipline and sense of loyalty, especially to family and children.

I would never marry a woman with a dozen or dozens of partners if I planned on having kids.

I've learned my lesson.

You guys are too anal about how many partners a woman has had. Well...at least an insecure guy is.

I know several really gorgeous, kind, lovely women who would be wonderful lifelong partners, and loving moms for your children, but I would never hope they marry you....only because you seem too concerned with their previous relationships.

The girl you have to worry about is the girl who didn't have several love affairs. She'll be wondering what she missed when she's married to you.

I grew up in the late 70s and early 80's, with coke and quaaludes and an abundance of sex and meaningless one-night stands. I've been with my fair share of women and never questioned the women I was with about their partners because, frankly, sex is just like anything else. The more you do it the better you get at it. I like to think of it as "sport fucking". But I never wanted to marry any of these women.

The woman I did end up marrying, and have been with for 24 years, had 3 partners. I was the third.

See, I knew she would commit to me, and thus I have committed to her. And that is how it was intended all along.

I honestly don't need to know the answer to that question so have never asked, for me it is all about the fun, the love, the passion, the commitment we share in the here and now.

Who really cares? As long as everyone's clean WTF does it matter? I'd rather have an experienced woman than some girl who doesn't know how to please me.

That was exactly my point. The 'hos were lots of fun... but I married the "good girl". and, after 24 years, we're still very much in love. not lust which goes away.

I did once because I fell in love with her. She told me straight up she had been with many and it didn't matter. Otherwise if I'm single I attempt to find relationship minded women, and avoid women that behave like men or want something casual like the plague. There are many different types of men and women, I guess, but that just means there's one for everybody.

My prince only had one encounter with one lady one time before me, I was the 2nd and last encounter in his lifetime.

Me? Gads! No way wold I ever admit to the true number but, I kissed way too many of frogs to find my prince, plus, I am 4 yrs older than him too.

It sure hasn't bothered him since the past is the past.
