He kept rattling on about satan and and that sort of shit. I am sure LZ would have found it offensive and unnecessary. Jack Black sucked. |

If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes. |

They called it subversive? So how do the young people (21yrs and younger) feel about 70's music in Russia? How do they feel about Led Zeppelin? ROM74 |

I can't answer for all young people nut I know 'illegal' / Underground LP's with anything from The Beatles (Wgich were hugely popular at that time and I think even toured the USSR) to Led Zeppelin and Electric Light Orchestra. I know as a fact my father had a large collection of such rock music and it didn't affect his legal status in any way. I grew up on having family activities such as listening to AC/DC and Beatles in concert. Those were the days I don't think the Soviet youth was any different from it's Western counterpart when it comes tot his gorgeous music. What I could found on YouTube of Soviet Rock music. Enjoy some different strokes. Snuffielover User ID: 22962224 Russia 01/31/2013 01:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You are very welcome Friend, I am most happy to spread the knowledge that the USSR wasn't some back alley when it came to great, almost 'civilized' music ;) Besides I am a total rock head and a huge "America" fan. (The band, not the country.) NICE...If I hadn't seen the video you posted below...I would have never believed it possible. Plus they are pretty good.
