First, OP, thank you so much for posting this. We've been giving our 2 dogs Beneful for years now.

Over the past 2 weeks our 11 yr old boxer/pitt mix has been pissing all over the place. She always enjoyed a large bowl of ice cold water a few times a day, but lately she's been looking for water constantly, and drinking out of our other dog's bowl. Since 2 weeks ago she stopped coming upstairs to sleep in our room and has stayed downstairs by herself in the back room. That goes against her instinct to protect her family. I also have been giving her Vetri-science Lab "UT Strength Canine" product which seemed to help a bit. I've made her organic juice with carrots, apples and cilantro(cilantro is a natural chelator) and noticed that was good for her on those days, but then she just went back to being a bit lethargic during the days.

Since our vet apt is in 2 weeks (we're hoping they can get us in earlier) I'll keep you all posted. She recently got a 2" round lump in her lower stomach area. I can't believe I've been poisoning my best friend all this time with food I thought was good for her, well, as far as dog food goes. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this issue. I know 11 in doggie years may seem old but she used to run around like a puppy with our 5 yr old little dog all day long outside (we're on an acre) so when she suddenly stopped her normal activities we were a bit baffled. Now I know Beneful is to blame so thank you once again OP.

To all who have lost pets because of the stupid powers that be not caring and just wanting to make their other stupid pals rich, I am so sorry very for your loss.
