Re: How males were feminized with Bisphenol A and Zearalenone
These studies are garbage. The amounts of BPA they expose the rats to is ridiculous. You would have to BOIL a liter of water, put it in a Nalgene container, let it sit and leach, and drink it all FIVE times a day to be exposed to this much BPA. Anyone here boil 5 liters of water a day and then drink it from a Nalgene PC bottle? I can make ANYTHING toxic or dangerous if I give enough of it to an organism.

I work in materials science research and have worked with BPA many times. Of all the things in plastic, it's one of the last I'd worry about.

BPA is being targeted because it's so common, it's a lawyer's dream because they can sue anyone and everyone. The replacement containers, like LDPE, have anti-oxidating chemicals to stabilize the plastic during processing so it doesn't degrade. Those are far more concerning to me than BPA.

The average person slept through high school chemistry but suddenly "knows" something is bad for them because the media told them so. Talk about sheeple.......
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30688956

the soft plastics that they are using in soda cups these days create a very distinct taste in the drinks..you can taste the 'plastic' easily. Obviously, these plastics are not near 'hard' enough.

you can spout all the bullshit you like...but the plastics they are now using contaminates drinks. just like the baby formula bottles were making babies ill...

FDA doesn't give a fuck. and you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

A comprehensive study into the reproductive health of 26,600 men found sperm concentration has decreased by a third since the 1990s.
The study, which was carried out in France, found there had been a ''significant and continuous'' 32.2 per cent decrease in sperm concentration over 17 years.

Re: How males were feminized with Bisphenol A and Zearalenone
A recent study from Harvard’s School of Public Health found a link between behavioral issues in preschool-age girls and mothers with high BPA levels — the higher the mothers’ BPA levels, the worse their daughters rated on standard behavior tests.

The FDA has said it will decide by March 31 whether BPA should be banned from all U.S. food and beverage packaging — not because of the French ban, which will make exports of U.S. products such as meats, juices and frozen seafood problematic, but because of a 2008 lawsuit filed against the FDA by the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

The NRDC filed a petition with the FDA, asking it to ban the use of BPA in food packaging. According to the NRDC, the FDA, which is legally mandated to respond to written petitions within 180 days, ignored the petition, prompting the NRDC to file a suit, requiring it to respond.

“Now, the FDA has agreed to give us an answer — 41 months after the petition was filed,” the NRDC’s Sarah Janssen wrote in a Dec. blog post.

After baby bottles warmed in microwaves were found to release BPA into infants’ milk, the chemical was banned from bottles by the European Union and Turkey, among other countries, in 2008. Canada had already banned BPA in bottles in 2007. Denmark has banned BPA in all baby food products, and the entire Japanese canning industry has replaced its BPA resin can liners. The U.S., however, still allows BPA in baby bottles, though Minnesota, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Washington, Maryland, Vermont and New York have enacted state-level regulations against it. Colorado is working on it.

While a desire to protect the most vulnerable Americans — infants — hasn’t been motivation enough for the FDA, hopefully money will be. The market for Florida’s juices to France alone is worth $21 million annually.

A Feb. 6 USDA Foreign Agricultural Service report on the potential impact of the French ban on U.S. exports explains that BPA works to strengthen plastics, is used as a resin to protect metal containers from corrosion, and is used on the metal lids of glass jars. Two companies, Dow Chemical and Bayar AC, produce “the bulk of BPA in world,” says the USDA report, and it estimates that “most if not all canned drinks, canned foods as well as many drinks and food in plastic containers are in contact with BPA.”

Products primarily affected by the ban, it adds:

… will be beverages, notably the Florida orange and grapefruit juice using plastic container; France is the second largest market for Florida juices with 21 million dollars sales. [sic] Imported beer will also be targeted by this action. In addition, any product that contains a plastic packaging or a plastic component may be affected by this law. Frozen seafood and meat products are most likely using BPA in their packaging, as well as packers for bulk dried fruit and dried legume. That means to say that it affects the majority of the manufactured, frozen and fresh products.

Mais Non! Europe Gangs Up To Foil France's BPA Ban
EU member states were not happy with a draft law which emerged last October from the lower house of the French Parliament that would ban BPA in all food packaging by 2014. So far, the Czech Republic, Holland, Italy, the Slovenia, Spain and the United Kingdom have lodged objections with the European Commission on the grounds that the draft French law does not follow sound science and, if implemented, would function as an internal barrier to trade.

European Commission Admits Forbes Was Right: European Countries Really Do Object To France
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote here on Forbes that six European Union states had lodged formal objections to draft legislation that would ban the use of bisphenol A (BPA) in food packaging in France on the grounds that the ban was not based on “sound science” and, if implemented, could constitute an internal trade barrier.
United Kingdom’s objection was also based on a belief that a French ban would also violate World Trade Organization sanitary rules.

Re: How males were feminized with Bisphenol A and Zearalenone
The gender the politicians, Hollywood, and the media use as the ideal person has changed from someone who is a strong moral male to a submissive female personality. They portray strong men as ignorant brutish bullies, while the 'educated' and 'enlightened' male is shown as someone who is sensitive and nurturing, even openly homosexual.

This is part of their agenda in the takeover of the west. A 'mature' adult nowadays is seen as someone in a feminine image. This feminization process manifests itself in myriad of ways. Consider child discipline. Only 20 years ago, the best way to discipline your child was to punish them in one way or another. Today it's ("Spare the rod, spoil the child."), spanking is considered child abuse, and the norm seems to be a quiet talking to, followed by tickets to the cinema. No wonder then we are living in a world where people are losing the sight of what's wrong and what's right. All these attitudes have brought about stupendously horrible consequences. The soaring drug use, crime, and welfare dependency are the result, the list goes on.

This process of femininization manifests itself, though somewhat differently, when you turn on the TV or watch a movie. Throughout the mid-twentieth century, leading men were, as a rule, infallible: But no longer. In family comedy, the father figure has metamorphosed from the all-knowing, all-wise, to the consistent stupidity of Homer Simpson. Commercially successful movies now often feature women who are physically aggressive, who dominate or at least upstage the men. In today's cinema, most of the leading women are strong, and most of the leading men are pretty boys.

A transformation of comparable magnitude seems to be under way in the political arena. The feminine way of seeing the world and its problems has becoming the mainstream way. There has been fundamental changes in American culture over the past fifty years, a shift from a male-dominated culture to a feminine and androgynous society. The question is, what's causing this shift, and why?

Today, women must be appeased and catered to. They are the heads of businesses, and the heads of their homes. They dictate their children's upbringing (which explains why many of them grow up undisciplined and spoiled, by the way) and have the final word on virtually all family decisions. Such a phenomenon is the sign of a nation in trouble. Men have abandoned their responsibilities of leadership, and our nation is going down the tubes because of it. In the black community, the vast majority of children are being raised without a father. The white community is not far behind. Furthermore, in those homes where fathers do exist, they are largely detached and provide no real influence. Mom is in charge, and everybody in the household knows it. It was not always this way, however.

There was a time in this nation when rugged men taught their sons the qualities of manhood. "Soccer Moms" have replaced disciplinarian dads. Then again, there was a time when a man's primary interest was not in guzzling a pack of Budweiser and sitting all evening in front of the "boob tube" while ignoring virtually everyone in the house. There was a time when men taught their children the fundamental values of honesty and integrity. Believe it or not, there was a time in America when men took pride in being the spiritual heads of their homes. They actually knew how to balance a checkbook and how to read a Good Book. They were the kind of men that women loved and children respected.

However, the feminization of America is so complete, so thorough, that I am not certain if, masculine men are even desirable anymore?

AN INTERESTING OBSERVATION: It makes me laugh, all the hippies, environmentalists, vegans, and health nuts consuming ''ORGANIC'' products that are sold in PLASTIC CONTAINERS! What the fuck is the point? YouÂ’re just trading off pesticides for ESTROGENS..lol

Re: How males were feminized with Bisphenol A and Zearalenone
Males exposed to high doses in the womb went on to be less likely to play with boys' toys like cars or to join in rough and tumble games, they found.

The University of Rochester team's latest work adds to concerns about the safety of phthalates, found in vinyl flooring and PVC shower curtains.

The findings are reported in the International Journal of Andrology.

Plastic furniture

Phthalates have the ability to disrupt hormones, and have been banned in toys in the EU for some years.

However, they are still widely used in many different household items, including plastic furniture and packaging.

The same researchers have already shown that this can mean boys are born with genital abnormalities.

Now they say certain phthalates also impact on the developing brain, by knocking out the action of the male hormone testosterone.

Dr Shanna Swan and her team tested urine samples from mothers over midway through pregnancy for traces of phthalates.

The women, who gave birth to 74 boys and 71 girls, were followed up when their children were aged four to seven and asked about the toys the youngsters played with and the games they enjoyed.

Girls' play

They found that two phthalates DEHP and DBP can affect play behaviour.

Boys exposed to high levels of these in the womb were less likely than other boys to play with cars, trains and guns or engage in "rougher" games like playfighting.

Elizabeth Salter-Green, director of the chemicals campaign group CHEM Trust, said the results were worrying.

"We now know that phthalates, to which we are all constantly exposed, are extremely worrying from a health perspective, leading to disruption of male reproduction health and, it appears, male behaviour too.

"This feminising capacity of phthalates makes them true 'gender benders'."

Due to its suitable properties and the low cost, DEHP is widely used as a plasticizer in manufacturing of articles made of PVC.[1] Plastics may contain 1% to 40% of DEHP.
Higher levels have been found in milk and cheese. It can also leach into a liquid that comes in contact with the plastic; it extracts faster into nonpolar solvents (e.g. oils and fats in foods packed in PVC).
DEHP has been used as a plasticiser in medical devices such as intravenous tubing and bags, catheters, nasogastric tubes, dialysis bags and tubing, and blood bags and transfusion tubing, and air tubes.

Smaller penis size and other feminizing links

DEHP metabolites measured from the blood of pregnant women have been significantly associated with the decreased penis width, shorter anogenital distance, and the incomplete descent of testes of their newborn sons, replicating effects identified in animals.[6] Approximately 25% of US women have phthalate levels similar to those in the study.[6]

Obesity

A study on CDC data, published in Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP), "revealed that American men with abdominal obesity or insulin resistance (a precursor to diabetes) were more likely to have high levels of [DEHP and DBP] metabolites in their urine than men without those problems."

Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) is a commonly used plasticizer. It is also used as an additive to adhesives or printing inks. It is soluble in various organic solvents, e.g. in alcohol, ether and benzene. DBP is also used as an ectoparasiticide.

DHP and DEHP have been found in food as a substitute for palm oil during a scandal in Taiwan. Among the kinds of foods were yoghurt powder, energy drinks, fruit jam, powder and syrup.

Europe Calls This One of the Top 6 Chemical Threats to Humans...
DEHP is highly lipophilic (fat soluble). When used in PVC plastic, DEHP is loosely chemically bonded to the plastic and readily leaches into blood or other lipid-containing solutions in contact with the plastic.
Animal studies show that exposure to DEHP can damage the liver, kidneys, lungs, and reproductive system, particularly the developing testes of prenatal and neonatal males.

US EPA: Children Face Highest Exposures to Phthalates
According to the EPA,

Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination survey (NHANES) indicates widespread exposure of the general population to phthalates. Biomonitoring data from amniotic fluid and urine have demonstrated that humans are exposed to phthalates in utero, as infants, during puberty, and in adult life, and that people are exposed to several phthalates at once…NHANES detected a DEHP urinary metabolite in 78% of the 2541 samples tested with women having a higher exposure than men. Children have been reported as having the highest exposures; specifically to DEHP, DBP, BBP and DnOP…Children are exposed to phthalates through environmental sources (e.g., air, water, food) as well as consumer products (e.g., toys)…Children’s estimated exposures are often greater than those in adults.
The 1999-2000 and 2001-2002 biomonitoring data in the Third National Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals demonstrate that children have the highest exposures to phthalates of all groups monitored, and other biomonitoring data indicate in utero exposures to phthalates.

Smoking helps the metabolization of DEHP!

Increased lipase activity would facilitate the conversion of DEHP to its active metabolite. Smoking is also known to increase lipase activity (Kong et al., 2001)
[link to www.fda.gov]

DEHP absorbed in the body is first metabolized by the catalytic action of lipase to produce mono(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (MEHP) and 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) ..

DEHP in house dust in Sweden
In a recent study of 198 Swedish children with persistent allergic symptoms and 202 controls without such symptoms, we reported associations between the symptoms and the concentrations of n-butyl benzyl phthalate (BBzP) and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in dust taken from the childrens’ bedrooms.
Both BBzP and DEHP were found in buildings with neither PVC flooring nor wall covering, consistent with the numerous additional plasticized materials that are anticipated to be present in a typical home.
Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) accounts for roughly 50% of overall phthalate production, although this percentage has been decreasing in recent years.

The Irritation of House Dust: DEHP Heightens Inflammatory Response in Allergy Sufferers
DEHP is a known modulator of gene expression, as illustrated by the current study results. Among healthy subjects, between the two exposure groups, 6 genes were upregulated and 4 were down-regulated. Among allergic subjects, between the two exposure groups, 8 genes were upregulated and 8 were downregulated. One of the genes elevated by DEHP was anti-Müllerian hormone, which is associated with proper gonad development in males. DEHP dampened the expression of lactate dehydrogenase A and fibroblast growth factor 9, regulators of testis formation. Although the gene expression data shed little light on allergic reactions, they support earlier evidence for phthalates’ action as endocrine disruptors that can impair reproductive tract development.

Researchers have found that DEHP, and other phthalates, are present on household dust, so will be inhaled by both children and adults. Infants breath twice as much air as adults (per kilo body weight), and spend most of their time indoors, so will be getting a particularly large dose of phthalates from dust (Oie et al., 1997).
Disturbingly, animal experiments indicate that MEHP, a metabolite of DEHP can irritate lungs (Doelman et al., 1990).
Many of the bags and tubes used in hospitals are made of PVC and leach phthalate plasticisers.

DEHP is lipophilic and tends to accumulate in adipose tissue. DEHP was present in human adipose tissues from accident victims at a concentration of 0.3-1.0 ppm XLIII and in 48% of the adipose tissue specimens from cadavers autopsied in 1982 as part of the Human Adipose Tissue Survey from the National Human Monitoring Program.

The liver, kidney, testes, and blood were identified as sites of DEHP metabolism.
Studies show a possible increased permeability of the blood-brain barrier to DEHP in neonates or developing organisms.
The first step in metabolism is the hydrolytic cleavage of DEHP resulting in the formation of MEHP and 2-ethylhexanol.
The formation of MEHP from the parent ester is achieved by lipases that have been identified in the pancreas and intestinal mucosa, as well as the liver, kidneys, lungs, skin and plasma.
After the primary metabolic conversions described above, the oxidized derivatives of MEHP can be conjugated with glucuronic acid for excretion.
Approximately 65% of DEHP metabolites are excreted as glucuronide conjugates in humans.
Metabolism following inhalation or dermal routes of exposure is expected to be similar to that after inhalation exposures, since there are lipases present in the alveolar cells of the lungs and the epidermis.

4 inch girth and 12 inch long
dildos, you would think a baby
cock was huge.

thanks for telling on yourselves girls ;)

now we know where the loose poon-tang is :)

before the fake dildos were invented,
you girls were highly appreciative
of the standard sized manhood.

now you use things that are way larger
than should be and expect all men to
be Godzilla size. It don't work that way.

You are the ones who changed the sizes
of your tang, so don't blame us.

don't blame us

is there an echo in here?
