We all know the Federal Government has us ridiculously outgunned. Apaches, Drones, Satellites, Missiles, Tanks, Nukes, etc.

So why are they so concerned about getting the guns?

It's not what you think. They aren't worried about private weapons and munitions posing a challenge to Federal power. They are well aware of their own capabilities. They are, however, worried about the pawns who will presumably carry out all this nonsense against us, i.e. traitorous and/or ignorant law enforcement, military, and private security (like Blackwater). If these assholes KNOW they aren't going to get any resistance, like gun fights threatening their safety, they will be much more confident and fierce in their execution of the police state.

It's simple, if the pawns meet too much resistance they may lose faith in the plan and give up. The PTB know that what they are planning is already so fucked up that a lot of would-be pawns won't even go for it (think Oathkeepers). The ones that do go for it however are obviously going to be selfish as fuck, so the safer the PTB can make it for them to carry this plan out the more likely they are to be successful.

Think of it this way... how many people would be willing to pick up a rattlesnake? Not many. How many people would be willing to pick up a de-fanged rattlesnake? Just about everyone.
