As I should you in exodus that The Lord didn't forbid images. He actually had images of cherubim (angels) in Solomon's temple. This is plainly in the bible.
To know the real Christ, you need to know what the apostles actually taught about the real Christ. You can see what they taught by studying the writings of the first disciples of the apostles. Are you practicing the Christianity that the apostles taught to their students?

The shroud image depicts the passion suffering and crucifixion perfectly. Anyone that has studied the shroud knows this, and this is one of the things that scare atheists, and that's why the sharper atheists will ignore the shroud, because they don't want God to exist .
