Anonymous Coward User ID: 31060996 United States 01/28/2013 09:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Funny, I was reading this thread because I noticed that all of the birds and squirrels around my property were putting out distress calls. Every one of them. Some of the birds were making distress calls I have never heard before. I am an avid bird watcher and know most of their sounds. It was bizarre to have to pull up a bird sound site to verify the calls of some of the birds I thought I had known everything about. I noticed it yesterday and they were continuing this morning. My cats have always been very independent, but lately have been wanting to stay in the house and be close to me and my wife. As I was reading the replies on this thread, I heard a groan. It was hard to describe. It sounded like a transformer shorting out, but you could feel it. I live in the country and if it was a transformer, the lights would have dimmed because my transformer is the only one near me. When this happened, my cats jumped up in panic and ran around the house looking around confused. I am a minimalist and have very few things in the house and am familiar with any sound that can be made. I went outside shortly after to have a smoke and the birds had picked it up a notch as well. I am in VA. Did anyone else notice this? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 31271979 United States 01/28/2013 12:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our female dog went outside this morning, no problems. Her son, however, REFUSED to go out, ran and hid under the pillows on the couch, with his ears pinned back, shaking. He's a sweet dog and sometimes a little nervous guy, but this morning, he was over the top, just would not go outside, try as I may to catch him. He's still a bit nervous and is on alert- not a normal habit of his unless there's someone or an animal outside, and even then, he's used to certain people and animals coming to the door and doesn't react when they come. The mother doesn't seem as nervous, but she is very alert, ears moving and for some reason, she's been sniffing the air a lot. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 18647453 Canada 01/28/2013 04:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good god people... Shut the hell up with these posts of your animals acting weird. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18647453 1) they are animals and animals are sometimes weird 2) just because they act strange does not mean something big is happening 3) you people will find any sort of excuse to try and find something and circle jerk about something happening I thought I was paranoid but you guys are just mentally retarded to prod shit on about your damn dogs acting weird. Start worrying about the state of the earth and the future of civilization and not your pets. Don't like the thread, hit the back button. In other words, SCRAM!!!!!!!! No one obviously gives a shit about you and your ignorant posts. If I want to worry about my pets acting strange, I will and an ignorant ass like yourself won't ever stop me. The only ignorant person between the both of us is you buddy. Now shut the hell up douche bag |

On Feb. 15th an asteroid about half the size of a football field will fly past Earth only 17,200 miles above our planet's surface. There's no danger of a collision, but the space rock, designated 2012 DA14, has NASA's attention. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 9829427 United States 01/29/2013 07:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My dog has bee acting strange since last Wednesday. She is 7 yrs. Old and has never acted this way. Very clingy and shaking. Freaked out when we are leaving. This is not normal at all for her. There are 3 other people at work that their dogs are doing the same thing. This is a time I wish they could talk. Quoting: messyjessie 9829427 My dog has bee acting strange since last Wednesday. Anonymous Coward User ID: 10439102 United States 02/05/2013 06:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This past Saturday our dog started walking around scared and shaking with her tail between her legs. The dogs sleep downstairs, but she now has to come upstairs. She must be coaxed to go outside and wants to remain outside. Rather than coming back in like she normally does, she just stands there looking at the house. We had another dog years ago that did the same thing. He would remain outside and not come back in... He was soon thereafter diagnosed with a blood disease. However he was not scared and shaking like she is... It seems different this time. We had a grandparent die over the weekend and we thought maybe she sensed this, but it has not improved yet. Not sure. We have another small dog that runs around happy and clueless. Dunno. Just thought I would share. I recall seeing this thread before before she started wigging. Anyone else have any updates? |
Dogs best friend User ID: 33727026 Australia 02/05/2013 07:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think my dog had a mini seizure or stroke last night, she was laying down then got up and started walking around putting her paws above her head with each step...sorta funny. Then she just laid motionless for awhile then returned to normal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4239460 DOOM OMG!!! I have 2 Pugs, one Bella is my baby and very sensitive. Yesterday night, my nephew was "discovering" youtube MK Ultra twins, which led onto Arizona Wilder, Kathleen Turner and Dr Karla Turner testimonies about the powers that shouldnt be. Suddenly the room felt odd, spooky and Bella and her mum Zelda started to bark which pugs rarely do!! Bella then started to go in a backward motion spasm. I picked her up for about 3 minutes when I put her down she toppled on her head and back like a turtle, she could not lift her head off the ground. Went into some major fit. We rushed her to the animal hospital they were not sure if it was a first time seizure. Today she is better. Very strange when I saw this thread. |
