Steer clear my friend.. esp: as Small Pox was cured years ago already, practically been eliminated now.

I already told her it was a bad idea but she already knew that. Its really strange though for them to make such an offer. At least I have never heard of such an offer before.
The area is suffering pretty bad with the economy so I bet people will be jumping at it.

Steer clear of it! When soldiers are given the small pox vaccination in the military, they have to be careful around their family members as it can spread.

When the Smallpox vaccination was mandated in England, the death from Small pox actually went up.

Anyone remember when smallpox was eliminated except for two vials, one in the USSR and one in the USA? Most people wanted the vials destroyed and the virus eradicated from existence.

Do yourselves a favor and read Demon in the Freezer. If you seriously believe that there are only two samples of this left you are sadly mistaken. There are colleges who have the stuff sitting in storage rooms and don't even know it. Body parts preserved in jars, used to show students what the affects of small pox was.
Aside from Russia mutating the variola virus so that a cup of it could kill every human on the plant, they also have a sophisticated delivery system which involves missiles with a refrigeration system, and the virus is held in small cannonball-like structures and are designed to open when they fall to the right altitude and throw the virus into the atmosphere and nobody would even know it happened. Governments have been playing with that devil virus for a long long time! Truth be told, they do not even need the human strain anymore, they can take mouse pox, cow pox, or just about any other strain and genetically mutated it. Iran****edit Iraq was doing it and because they hadn't been successful mutating it to attack to humans, it wasn't the WMD's the U.S. government was hoping to find.

I remember when my husband got his small pox and anthrax vaccines. As a matter of fact, he is due for both next month. But he was told not to go anywhere near me or anybody else for 24 hours. every few month, especially when it's humid, his arm where he was given the anthax vaccine swells up and get sore. It swells enough I can see it and it feels like a huge bump or pimple on his arm.

Smallpox almost wiped out the native American population. No amount of money would be worth your health or life.
There probably will be homeless laying in alleys in the future dead of smallpox. Ashame there will be some that care more about the money, then they will spread it

As much as I hate to admit this because I HATE big pharma and do not vaccinate my dogs let alone my children, if they are able to develop a vaccine that would be capable of saving the lives of many if a mutated variola virus was spread, then I'm all for it. The problem is I don't think it would be possible to know what strain and genetic make up of strain an enemy would release therefore I think it would be a little difficult to develop a vaccine. That's where it gets twisted.. the only way a vaccine can be developed is if they know what they are up against. That is why the flu vaccine is crap, the virus mutates to quickly and they have no clue what it's going to be, it's a guess.

They also acted nice and gave them blankets that were used by people with small pox.. so sick to think about doing something like that.

But history shows us these things were done in a time when morals were much stronger than today.
If that was done then what would be done now?
