However, to reflect the actual article content, the headline should read "Israel warns of possible pre-emptive strike on chemical weapons in Syria."

Big difference in meaning. Yes. Sometimes even I grow tired of sloppy English grammar, especially when it profoundly changes the meaning of what is truly being expressed.

ANyway, it would be easy to confirm if something was happening at Fordo plant in Iran - just get satellite pictures of the clean up and rescue crews...if this happened a while ago why haven't those pictures been released along with this story of an explosion. Because nothing happened, that's why, or it's not as serious as they are claiming.
