Obama to Meet with Sheriffs and Police Chiefs to Talk Gun Control (UPDATED)

Here's the problem

There are 1500 newspapers, 1100 magazines, 9000 radio stations, 1500 TV stations, 2400 publishers...ALL OWNED BY ONLY 3 CORPORATIONS

There's just no way to get the TRUTH out to the masses.

That's a low blow.

However, it doesn't seem to be the most rational thing to do on their part.

If they are trying to minimize gunowner threat, then they would not want to single out family men and women (who have more to lose and are thus less likely to act against the government) and leave people without kids (who have less to lose by acting against the government) with their guns.

I don't know. The levels of paranoia run deep and in all directions. It's hard to keep up with a government as corrupt as ours...

Make a list of all the names, including reporters, and "experts". Turnabout is always fair play.

Let's check who has invested in Firearms Laser Marking Machines? The sheriffs will all probably be handed one to bring back to their states.

This is just another step in the war on us as a governed people.

Did you think the PTB would roll over just because a couple dozen sheriffs from jerk-water USA wagged their fingers at them?

You can't get a better scenario, the people's money being withheld from them..."we'll stop your "FUNDING" if you don't go along "... all the while the sheep baa. If the people keep their monies and fund themselves why would one need an overpowering gubermnt to dictate your day?

I'm not too sure they are going to do too much gun control. They certainly will meet resistance in the congress, especially the house. I think you will see a reduction in magazine size, and maybe restrictions on gun production. It will be tough to go after already purchased guns. Local cops won't want the hazard, thus the reason many sherriffs are saying no. so what then Armed troops? Then it takes one bullet fired to start a war between the government and the population.

I think the end goal is the mental health angle. It pops up everywhere. More then likely they will start with attaching medical records to background checks. We will probably have to have mental health screenings to purchase a gun, and possible periodic evaluations to purchase a gun. Of course who is left to decide the mental health of a person? Certainly a panel of doctors or something. At any rate, they don't have to ban the guns, just ban the crazies, well at least those deemed crazy, from owning them. Long term, they can use these mental health screenings to send those undesirables away to FEMA Camps.

In short, they will use the term "Mental health" to restrict ownership to those who tow the line as far as the government concerned. The "mentally ill" will be much like the jews of Nazi Germany.

This meeting is only about one thing and one thing only. This is damage control pure and simple. Sheriffs all over the country are openly standing up to tell Obama a loud and clear "NO" when it comes to unconstitutional gun rights infringement edicts and that is making the news. Obama is only bringing in the faithful for a photo op to fool the sheep and the useful idiots.

He is trying to create a situation in which he can justify Marital Law, does no one see this?? Once that is done, then they can shut down food shipments, possibly shut down power grids and let things fall apart all of its own accord. By the time everything is over, people will be beggin Obama to take their guns and turn the power and food back on and they will be good little boys and girls.

This has nothing to do with saving lives and everything to do with controlling lives.

Actually, this whole event was supposed to be secret (allegedly) and was leaked by a white house staffer "on the condition on anonymity", according to the article at foxnews.com

only major cities, towns of shootings and they must be carefully screened? whoa this just reeks of them furthering gun control
